MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. — Moran Family of Brands is encouraging car owners to shape up their cars for this winter season, according to a press release.
Cold temperatures, snow and ice can wreak havoc on roads and vehicles, stated the release, however the Car Care Council revealed more than 70 percent of motorists admit they don’t prepare their cars for winter weather.
Experts at Moran Family of Brands has created a list of car care tips to help car owners prepare for winter, titled “5 Winter Road Warrior Tips,” reported the release.
These guidelines include monitoring fluids, checking tire pressure, taking care of a car’s battery, cleaning a vehicle to see the road and creating a winter weather kit, continued the release.
Car owners should keep an emergency kit inside their vehicles that includes a cellphone charger, ice scraper and snow brush, bottled water and dry food snacks, a flashlight, jumper cables and a blanket, informed the release.
Moran Family of Brands is a U.S. franchiser of general automotive repair, transmission repair and automotive accessory centers, noted the release.
The company provides specialty products and services across three automotive brands as well as more than 120 franchise locations around the nation, added the release.
