HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Japanese-based Omron Automation and Safety has opened its new American headquarters, according to a press release.
The facility features a state-of-the-art automation center to give customers access to engineering and technical resources in one location just outside of Chicago, said the release.
The center also serves as a university-style laboratory where customers can collaborate, text and explore solutions, noted the release. The center has multiple working platforms including robotics, electro-mechanic motion control, advanced sensing and safety.
