BATAVIA, N.Y. — Tony Mattiacio, after success with his automotive business in Rochester, New York, wants to launch his Ziebart Franchise in Batavia, according to thedailynewsonline.com.
Mattiacio, the CEO of Monroe County Automotive Services, plans to establish a location for auto detailing, undercarriage protection and accessories including waxing, washing, undercoating, remote car starters, shampoo products, window tinting and more, the article stated.
Batavia’s Planning & Development Committee approved his request to operate the automotive business pending approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals, reported the article.
“Because of the tremendous amount of success in the Rochester area we wanted to open here in Batavia,” said Mattiacio in the article. “We will definitely be hiring … about 10 to 15 in the next year or two.”
Mattiacio stated in the article that he opened his first site in 1989 with six employees, which later grew to more than 100.
He projects that the new Batavia location will open this summer, noted the article.
