A recent BMW Blog, entitled, How To Wax And Polish Your BMW, encourages people to detail their cars themselves and not use a professional.
The blog, written by Chuck Vossler, is part of a website dedicated to BMW owners. In it, Vossler writes, "Twice a year I’m the car guy who prefers to wax my BMWs. First in April and second one in October. The reasons behind this strategy has to do with the fact that it protects the paint right before the two toughest seasons on any paint."
Vossler also provides videos on how owners should go about using a Random Orbital.
