Business to host fundraiser for Colorado search and rescue

LOVELAND, Colo. — Breeze Thru Car Wash will host the fundraising event “Breeze Thru for the Rescue” on Saturday, Sept. 26.

LOVELAND, Colo. — Breeze Thru Car Wash in Fort Collins is holding a benefit to help raise money for the Larimer County Search and Rescue, a nonprofit corporation that “assists and provides mountain search and rescue professionals,” according to the Reporter-Herald.

The carwash will donate 100 percent of proceeds from wash sales to the Larimer County Search and Rescue at the event, which is being called “Breeze Thru for the Rescue,” stated the article.

Representatives from the county search and rescue will answer any questions, show people around their truck and introduce customers to the search and rescue dogs at the event, reported the article.

A free lunch will also be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., added the article, in addition to a climbing wall and a bounce house for children.

The event will take place all day on Saturday, Sept. 26, continued the article, at the Breeze Thru Car Wash location at 1171 E. Mulberry St.

The search and rescue hopes to raise funds for a new rescue Truck 11, noted the article, which the current truck is a used vehicle from the local sheriff’s office that is wearing out and often breaks down.

The new truck will cost $100,000, added the article, and the nonprofit is presently half way to achieving its goal.
