Representatives from the county search and rescue will answer any questions, show people around their truck and introduce customers to the search and rescue dogs at the event, reported the article.
A free lunch will also be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., added the article, in addition to a climbing wall and a bounce house for children.
The event will take place all day on Saturday, Sept. 26, continued the article, at the Breeze Thru Car Wash location at 1171 E. Mulberry St.
The search and rescue hopes to raise funds for a new rescue Truck 11, noted the article, which the current truck is a used vehicle from the local sheriff’s office that is wearing out and often breaks down.
The new truck will cost $100,000, added the article, and the nonprofit is presently half way to achieving its goal.
