Business-In-A-Bucket aims to form young detailers

ANAHEIM, CA — An entrepreneur looks to empower young people and the unemployed to create their own businesses with a bucket, car care products and a book.

ANAHEIM, CA — The new Business-In-A-Bucket was created with the idea of making it easy for everyone, even teenagers, to make money by launching a business, according to businessreviewusa.com.

The July 10 release stated that Kevin Jones, an entrepreneur, created the business to help those suffering from unemployment and to help young people learn business skills, not just labor skills.

Business-In-A-Bucket is just what it sounds like — a bucket with car care products inside. Also included is Jones’ instructional guide book, “The Owner’s Guide to Auto Detailing.” The book includes 58 car maintenance tips covering numerous topics.

The package costs $59.99. “It’s a great way to encourage youth in business. We must find ways to create our own stimulus packages, and doing so for yourself is a great start. With Business-In-A-Bucket, something so simple can lead to something so great,” Jones said in the release.

According to research compiled by  International Carwash Association (ICA), bay wash formats — in-bay automatics (IBA) and self-serves — consist of approximately 72% of all retail carwash locations in the U.S. That share of the pie is even higher in Europe and Australia — where IBAs and self-serve locations comprise 88% and 97% of total locations respectively, notes ICA. But, while these formats aren’t new, what’s happening in and around these bays is changing with the times.
