ANKENY, Iowa — All Casey’s General Stores will begin online ordering later this year, according to CSPnet.com.
The company conducted a successful test of the ordering platform starting in 2014, noted the article, in the Des Moines area. Customers can use the system to order a pizza for delivery or pickup.
"It was a relatively short test, but given the results and the small investment, we expect to roll that out to all stores later this year," Senior Vice President and CFO Bill Walljasper said in the article. "We expect to make an official announcement in June."

Patrons can order pizza and two-liter sodas from a website, reported the article. Casey’s will likely add a mobile app for ordering when the full platform is made available. Sub sandwiches will also be added.
"There are several chains out there, like Jimmy John's and Domino's, that have this service available, so we see this as a viable new option," shared Walljasper in the article.
