Car care franchise to expand Alabama footprint

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Meineke Car Care is seeking single and multiunit franchise partners to accelerate its presence in Alabama.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Meineke Car Care plans to expand in Birmingham with 13 new locations over the next five years, according to AL.com.

The automotive repair franchise is seeking new single and multiunit franchise partners to speed up its presence in Alabama, stated the article.

Meineke asserted that the area’s demographics, among other factors, made Birmingham an “ideal spot for expansion,” reported the article.

“The growth of the industry and the heavy demand for our services in Birmingham has made this an exciting time for Meineke,” said Dave Schaefers, vice president of franchise development of Driven brands Inc., in the article. “We are 100 percent committed to our investment in the Birmingham economy and growing our brand presence in the area.”

Meineke reported that each new car care location will create new jobs and provide thousands of dollars in local development contracts, continued the article.

The 48-year-old car care franchise currently has approximately 1,000 centers in 48 states and five countries, noted the article.
