DOVER, Del. — The 3M Hire Our Heroes Program will sponsor a car cleanup event Sept. 25, according to CapeGazette.com.
The daylong event will be held at the vehicle maintenance facility at Dover Air Force Base, said the article. Volunteers will provide free vehicle detailing valued up to $250 for spouses of deployed and fallen military members.
The team of volunteers “consists of employees from 3M, Advance Auto Parts and local auto body repair shops,” noted the release.

All base personnel can also attend a pep rally at 4 p.m. at the Airman and Family Readiness Center, where NASCAR driver Greg Biffle of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion will be in attendance, stated the release.
Hire Our Heroes “provides scholarships and grants to deserving military members and their families interested in careers in the collision industry,” explained the article.
