OTTUMWA, IA — A car detailing shop wants to add a used car dealership to its business, but is receiving opposition from city planning, according to the Ottumwa Evening Post.
The owner has agreed to only showcase six cars at a time, and desires to focus on import and luxury cars.
The criticism is that the expanded business would not be aesthetically pleasing to the historic district. The business failed to generate the necessary votes to be approved for rezoning.
