BILLINGS, Mon. — Splish Splash Car Wash is in talks with city officials to discuss the possibility of building its first carwash in the state, according to the Billings Gazette.
The carwash’s parent company, Express Car Wash Group, is expected to announce its decision in January, noted the article.
Express owner Brett Meinberg indicated in the article he is optimistic about the venture moving forward.
If approved, the 220-foot tunnel carwash will be built in the East Billings Urban Renewal District, reported the article.
Kelly McCarthy, the district’s development director, said in the article the area hasn’t grown due to lack of infrastructure.
The carwash would likely try to be annexed into the city so the district would pay for water, sewer and other improvements, stated the article.
