KOKOMO, Ind. — Crew Carwash plans to honor the life of Howard County Sheriff Deputy Carl Koontz and thank those who serve and protect the community of Howard County, according to Kokomo Perspective.
The carwash chain will offer free washes to all police and emergency personnel on the day of Koontz’s visitation, Monday, March 28, as well as on the day of the late deputy’s funeral, on Tuesday, March 29.
The free washes will be offered at Crew’s Kokomo location only, reported the article, and the carwash encourages all law enforcement officers, emergency responders and firefighters to stop by the facility.
Customers must present their badges to receive the complimentary carwash, which can be used for personal or patrol vehicles, continued the article.
The Kokomo location is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, noted the article.
