Carwash, detail center hosting fundraiser to benefit PHA

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The carwash’s owner wants to support the organization to find a cure for pulmonary hypertension.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Aqua Car Spa will host a fundraiser called Wash PHor a Cure benefiting the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA), on Thursday, Nov. 13, according to fatcatwebproductions.com.

PHA is a nonprofit organization that educates others and seeks a cure for pulmonary hypertension, said the article. Aqua will donate proceeds from its wash and detail sales to the charity.

“I’m beyond thrilled to host this event to raise both awareness and funds for PHA,” Don Larson, owner of Aqua Car Spa, stated in the article. “I have high hopes for Wash PHor a Cure and invite my fellow members of The Woodlands community to support this worthy cause.”

Aqua Car Spa offers express, full serve and hand washes in addition to monthly washes, hand detailing, oil changes and maintenance services, noted the article.

PHA began in Florida in 1990 and now has more than 13,000 members and supporters, reported the article.
