ALBANY, N.Y. — Hoffman Car Wash is hosting a fundraiser on Nov. 7-8 to help support local food pantries, according to a press release.
During the event, customers who bring in a donation of canned or nonperishable food will receive a complimentary carwash, stated the release.
Most needed items, reported the release, include: cereal, peanut butter, jelly as well as canned protein (tuna or chicken), entrees (stew, ravioli, etc.), fruit in juice, spaghetti sauce and soup.
Local organizations benefiting from the food drive, continued the release, include: People’s Place, Columbia Opportunities, Captain Youth and Family Services, Bethlehem Food Pantry, Hope 7 Food Pantry, Regional Food Bank and more.
According to its website, Hoffman Car Wash has full-service, exterior wash, express detail, touch-free and self-service locations throughout New York.
