Carwash manager fakes robbery

ST. LOUIS — After stealing money, the manager called in the theft.

ST. LOUIS — According to www.kmov.com, the manager of Brite Worx Car Wash in Florissant, Missouri, was accused of stealing money from the carwash’s safe.

The manager, Howard Antonio McGregor, was allegedly seen on surveillance footage taking two deposit bags of money from the carwash safe on May 15th, the article continued.

After McGregor took the bags, the article noted, police reported that he went home temporarily and then went to a nearby location to call the police and report the robbery of the bags.

Detectives later discovered that McGregor’s claim was a ruse and arrested him for theft, the article added.

McGregor is being held at the St. Louis County Jail for a case of theft over $750, a class D felony, the article concluded.
