Carwash owner helping solve the problem of unsafe drinking water

ROSWELL, Ga. — Sky Wash owner Jim Dudley is contributing resources to combating the problem of unclean drinking water, according to The Huffington Post.

ROSWELL, Ga. — Unsafe drinking water is the cause of 80 percent of disease and sickness in developing nations, and one wash owner is doing his part to help prevent that, according The Huffington Post.

Jim Dudley, the owner of Sky Wash, sees the carwash business as one that can make a difference. “Water is essential to our business and one of the biggest needs in our world today, so it’s obvious that we have a platform for awareness and change,” he said.

During the week of World Water Day, March 21-28, Dudley is working with Georgia businesses to raise awareness of water problems. Water filters will be provided to communities in Kenya and Dominican Republic. The filters will be able to provide 65,000 people with 10 years of clean water.

Other local carwashes in the Georgia area are also contributing to the program.
