MERCED, Calif. — Pro Lube Oil Change Center is moving to a new corporate office after receiving approval from the city council, according to the Fresno Bee.
The council had purchased 1.93 acres to prepare for an underpass for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. It voted to sell the land to Pro Lube Inc. for $480,000, said the article.
The land was once home to a carwash, laundromat and liquor store, noted the article.

Pro Lube will build an upgraded carwash, sandwich shop, gated park and pet grooming center, stated the article. The owners hope to make the location their main office.
Owners Mike Hausmann and James “Red” Williams expect to invest $2.6 million in the project and create between 22 and 28 jobs, reported the article. Construction should begin in 2015.
Hausmann and Williams have further plans to add three buildings for transmission and detail shops, as well as a storage site, explained the article.
