Carwash vacuum thief arrested

PHILADELPHIA — A man attempted to steal $181.35 in change from a vacuum machine at a carwash on April 15, according to the Montgomery Media.


PHILADELPHIA — North Penn Car Wash was the target of Christopher Nyame on April 15, who attempted to steal $181.35 from a vacuum machine, according to the Montgomery Media.

Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle around midnight, according to the article.

Nyame attempted to put the money back into the vacuum machine, and police discovered a padlock on one of the units had been taken off.

Police arrested Nyame on three counts of misdemeanor possession of an instrument of crime with intent, among other charges.
