POST FALLS, ID — A wash owner here, tired of dealing with random attempted thefts, finally caught a suspect on camera, nwcn.com reported.
The Oct. 27 article stated that a couple pulled up to the Coeur d’Alene Car Wash Plaza. The woman got change for the carwash while the man attempted to break into the vending machine.

The man tried using a tool to pry the machine open, but he did not succeed. Even though the suspect left with no money, the attempt is still a financial blow.
Owner John Hansen has to replace the boxes after break-ins, and it costs of hundreds of dollars each time. Vandalism is something Hansen has dealt with at several wash locations.
