NEW SOUTH WALES, Australia — Several carwashes throughout the country will thank veterans on Remembrance Day with a free wash.
The initiative is part of Grace for Vets, an international program that brings together carwashes to honor veterans with free washes every year.
The Car Bath in Whyalla is one wash participating. “This day is not about the car wash operators who are providing the free washes, it’s about honouring and recognising those who have and are serving and protecting our country,” owner Greg Boston said in an article on whyallanewslone.com.

Pete’s Car Wash in Orange was also involved with the charity last year. “This is the third year we have offered this to our veterans, and last year we had 34 of them take up the offer,” he shared in an article on centralwesterndaily.com.
Mueller added in the article that a free carwash is the least [his company] could do for the veterans.
Grace for Vets began in 2004, and has grown throughout four countries.
