HARWINTON, Conn. — Seventy-three golfers participated in the Connecticut Carwash Association (CCA) 17th Annual Golf Classic on Sept. 23 at the Fairview Farm Golf Course, according to a press release.
CCA Golf Chairperson Todd Whitehouse said in the release, “You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.”
The event included breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as extensive raffle prizes and a chance to win a lease on a car.
“It’s a really great outing for the money,” said Whitehouse. “We have purposefully kept our registration fee low so it is affordable to members and non-members alike.”
Team Mighty Auto Parts won the tournament with a score of 58. Car Wash Systems took home second place, and Team Stanley Street won third.
Prizes were also awarded for men’s and women’s longest drives, and closest to the pin. The Legislator of the Year Award was presented to State Representative Selim G. Noujaim.
