DETROIT — On July 18th and 19th, Motor City Wash Works hosted its special annual charity event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Its 8th annual open house for the nonprofit organization, Motor City Wash Works employees as well as other industry professionals gathered on July 18 for a carwash tour and later at a Welcome Reception at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in downtown Detroit.

The next day was filled with fun and fundraising with a packed, all day and night agenda.

Attendees were cordially invited to Motor City Wash Works’ factory tour and BBQ lunch, followed by an auction at the Little Gem Theatre.

To cap off the event, guests were then treated to a baseball game at Comerica Park.

“We appreciate everyone taking time from your busy schedules and families to spend a few days with all of us,” noted a Motor City Wash Works press release. “This event continues to grow and would not be possible without the support from our distribution, customers and industry partners. We truly appreciated all of the companies and individuals that participated to make this the largest charity auction and raffle that Motor City Wash Works has hosted. We feel honored to have partnered with St. Jude again this year. Your generosity will aid in continuing the amazing work that this charity is doing to save the lives of sick children.”
