CORAOPOLIS, PA — A fire raged until 3 a.m., destroying a building that housed a carwash, auto repair shop and laundromat.
Official say carwash and laundry chemicals fueled the fire, which required six fire companies to contain.
Carwash fire being investigated as arson
“We did hear some explosions fighting the fire. There were some things that blew up. We had no men in the building – pretty much an exterior operation and no one was injured,” Coraopolis Fire Chief Larry Byrge said in the Pittsburgh.CBSlocal.com story.
The fire marshal is currently investigating the incident.
