UNION, N.J. — The Car Wash Operators of New Jersey (CWONJ) raised $5,000 for the Children’s Specialized Hospital during a golf game and silent auction on Aug. 4, according to a press release.
Over the years, CWONJ has raised $47,000 for the hospital.
Attendees enjoyed lunch and dinner as well as a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres. First and second place, men’s and women’s longest drive winners won pro shop gift certificates, said the release.

“This association has been such a supporter of the hospital for many years,” said hospital representative Janelle LoBello, in the release. “…The money raised helps us help so many really deserving children and their families.”
Children’s Specialized Hospital is the largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in the country. It serves children affected by brain injury, spinal cord dysfunction and injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays and life-changing illnesses from ages two to 21.
