Construction begins on $5 million dealership/carwash

WILLMAR, MN — Earth work and utility installation is underway, and a building permit should be approved for spring.

WILLMAR, MN — Earth work is underway on a combination auto dealership and carwash here, the West Central Tribune reported.

The Oct. 29 article stated that the site will be the new location for Mills Auto Center Buick, Toyota and Scion. Besides two dealerships in Willmar, Mills also operates three in nearby Brainerd.

Wash clears final hurdle before construction

Initial estimates show the dealership will cost more than $5 million to build, and city officials anticipate that the construction will begin in the spring after a building permit has been issued. A building permit is not required for utility work.
