HAGERSTOWN, Md. — Automotive services company WLR Automotive Group recently purchased the Baltimore Street Station Car Wash for $1 million and today, it was announced in the Herald Mail that construction is underway.
The June 27 story said WLR, which stands for Wash, Lube, Repair, owns carwashes, quick lubes and repair shops in the Frederick County, Md., area. The firm acquired the carwash on May 30.

The 1.3-acre property was owned by Antietam Paper Co. decades ago and sold in 1990 for $140,000. Then, in 2006, Schindel Enterprises Baltimore sold it for around $1.8 million.
