CSI hires commercial transportation manager

Michael Lamminen, formerly of InterClean Equipment and the wastewater treatment industry, will serve on the Cleaning Systems Inc. commercial transportation team.

DE PERE, Wisc. — Cleaning Systems Inc. (CSI), the transportation industry chemical product and technology producer, has named Michael Lamminen its new commercial transportation sales manager, according to a press release.

“I am excited to return to the commercial transportation cleaning industry and to bring our state of the art cleaning solutions to customers around the world!” Lamminen said in the release, who, prior to joining CSI he most recently owned a consulting company focusing on water and wastewater treatment consultation.

From 2004 to 2011, Lamminen was Global Sales manager for vehicle and heavy equipment wash manufacturer InterClean Equipment, the release noted, and also spent time in the wastewater treatment industry as an international sales manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University as well as master’s and doctorate degrees in environmental engineering from Ohio State University.

“We are pleased to welcome Michael to the CSI Commercial Transportation team,” CSI President and CEO Dave Krause said in the release. “His extensive education, industry knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to both our organization and to our customers around the world.”

Cleaning Systems Inc. was founded in 1976 in De Pere, Wisconsin, and creates car care industry cleaning products such as Lustra and Ultraflex.
