LEAVENWORTH, KS — A reader submitted a story from the Conoco One Stop of exceptional customer service to the Leavenworth Times.

The Nov. 8 report stated that customer Kim Manring submitted the following: “While going through the carwash at Conoco One Stop on 12th street, I had the most unexpected surprise. My car is in the carwash and starts shaking and I look up from reading emails on my phone and there was Barry Powell scrubbing the bug guts off the front of my windshield and bumper with a sponge! It was truly a surprise! Thank you, Barry ­— my car looked much nicer for your efforts!”
