Dealership cancels free carwash promotion

GRAND FORKS, ND ― Rydell Honda Nissan will not be giving out free washes today due to cold weather.

GRAND FORKS, ND ― Cold temperatures today have forced Rydell Honda Nissan of Grand Forks to cancel its free carwash promotion, which was promoting the dealership's new carwash system, Grand Forks Herald reported.

The Jan. 31 story said officials hope to be back up and running on Friday, weather permitting.

The free carwashes have been given away this past week.

Renovated dealership tunnel gives away free washes

As PC&D previously reported, the carwash was closed for four months to install the new system. Services include a chemical bath to remove salt and grime. Also, there’s a 130-degree flash dryer to prevent washed cars from freezing. After the free week, washes will cost $5 to $9 and unlimited wash packages will be available for $16.95 to $29.90 a month.
