PENSACOLA, FL — Garden Street Car Wash is open again after being closed on-and-off for about three years, pnj.com reported.
The Nov. 18 story stated that the new owners, Shawn Martin and Forrest DeMaria, will preserve the hand wash history of the business with 11 employees that wash vehicles before they go through the wash tunnel.
Pair pleads to re-open abandoned carwash
“Hand washing cars has been going on here since 1951, and I didn’t want to change that,” Martin said in the story. “I want us to be known for the best customer service in town, and we want the customers to have a better experience at our carwash than anywhere else. Forrest and I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into this renovation.”
The carwash has two bays, one for washing and the other for detailing. Hours run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Pickup and delivery are also available downtown.
