Detailer creates first on-demand mobile carwash app for the Long Island area

WOODBURY, N.Y. — The Wash on Wheels Carwash App lets users create an account where they can store all vehicles and potential locations in which they might need a wash, allowing for 20-second booking.

WOODBURY, N.Y. — Long Island detailer Jordan Zecher recently launched the Wash on Wheels Carwash App, the first on-demand mobile carwash app for Nassau and Suffolk Counties, according to a press release.

The app allows users to schedule or request on-demand, on-site washes via a smartphone or tablet, stated the release.

“We began developing this app last fall for busy car and truck owners whose schedules do not always allow them time to bring their car into Detailed and wait for it to be cleaned,” said Zecher, who owns luxury detailing shop Detailed in Copiague and Woodbury’s Wash on Wheels Mobile Car Wash App, in the release.

Free for download from the App Store or on any Apple device, the Wash on Wheels Carwash App, the release reported, lets users create an account where they can store all their vehicles and potential wash locations so that, when set up, booking a mobile carwash takes less than 20 seconds and allows customers to request immediate or future washes.

“As automotive detailers, we know the importance of routine clean car maintenance in protecting an automotive investment,” added Zecher in the release. “Our proprietary Wash on Wheels app takes away the time issue making it more convenient for them.”

An Android version of Wash on Wheels will be released this summer as well as an upgrade to let users save credit card information within the app, allowing for speedy payment, continued the release.
