KANSAS CITY, KS — When a detail operation found out it was against EPA regulations to use chemicals for detailing and washing cars in the area, the owners decided to create green products they could use legally, according to a press release.
The Oct. 23 release stated that the result was a patented cloth that does not require solvents or cleaners. The product received its first patent in 2010.

Instead of creating a green product just to appeal to the market, the cleaning system was made to improve operators’ bottom lines. According to the release, the product cleans in less time and requires no re-washing to remove streaks or buildup.
