CLEVELAND — Willie Yarber, owner of Northeast 16th Avenue Detailing and Window Tinting, not only wants to offer his customers the best detailing services, he also wants to offer men a second chance by giving them a job, The Gainsville Sun reported.
The Nov. 27 story quoted Yarber who stated, "It is very important to me to be able to give guys work because I know where I come from, and I know it is hard to get a job. Some of the guys have felonies on them, and people won't give them a second chance."
Yarber, 49, who has been detailing for over 30 years, employs eight regular workers and hires men to work on the weekends.
Northeast 16 specializes in buffing and waxing, headlight restoration, interior and exterior car cleaning, and window tinting.
Yarber said he plans on opening up a barbershop and beauty salon on the property and will be hiring eight more people looking for work.
