Detailing company pitching in with donations to schools

MILACA, Minn. — The recently opened Due North Detailing is giving 5 percent of proceeds to schools, according to the Mille Lacs County Times.

MILACA, Minn. — Amanda and Rich Lamont are giving back to schools while detailing your vehicle, according to the Mille Lacs County Times.

The couple recently opened Due North Detailing, and is giving 5 percent of proceeds to the Milaca Public Schools. “We love the people around here. They’re good people,” said Rich Lamont. This their way of giving back to the community.

Richard was raised in a family that once owned six detailing businesses, so he feels right at home with his new job. “I grew up in the detailing business and started working when I was 13,” he said.

Not only does the business detail cars, but they also detail campers, semi-tractors and even fish houses.

A specialty of the business is clay barring, which removes contaminants from a vehicle’s surface.
