LEWISTOWN, Mont. — Jake Barta began with the idea of opening a dog wash, and now owns a carwash as well, according to Lewistown News-Argus.
“My original idea was to open a dog wash,” said Barta, and after looking at places with his real-estate agent, he “ended up owning the whole carwash.” He continued by adding that the previous owners “were just so honest and up front, I ended up buying the property. It all happened really fast.”

The wash, which he purchased in March, will have its dog wash open sometime in early June. The dog wash is coin operated, and will have a large tub to accommodate all dogs.
There are advantages to cleaning your dog at one of these washes, he said. “With the blow dry feature, you won’t have a wet dog running around your house,” said Barta. “You can also wash your dog in the winter and you will have a dry dog before you leave and not have to worry about the cold.”
The wash also has six coin-operated bays to maintain.
