LANSING, Mich. — A woman, 93, drove her vehicle into the wall of a carwash in Lansing township, according to WILX.
The incident occurred at Ultra Clean Oil Change on Monday, Sept. 21, at 12:45 p.m. on Clippert Street, stated the article.
Kay Hoffman, chief of the Lansing Township Police Department, reported that the woman told officers she had just went through the carwash when she put her car in drive and it then took off, continued the article.
Additionally, the woman reported that her brakes were also not working, informed the article.
“The car drove in a ‘C’ shape turn and eventually [struck] the side of the carwash,” noted the article.
The woman was not injured, reported the article, and no other vehicles or employees were inside the wash.
However, the carwash sustained significant damage, added the article.
