Employee crushed by carwash machinery

CHICAGO — According to chicago.cbslocal.com, Adam Cerceo, 45, died after being crushed by machinery at a Jefferson Park carwash on July 10th.

Cerceo, who was an employee of the carwash, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center around 10 p.m. that night after suffering from injuries caused by the machinery, the article continued.

He was later pronounced dead, the article noted.

An autopsy revealed Cerceo died from multiple injuries caused by becoming entangled in the automated carwash, the article added.

The autopsy ruled his death an accident, the article concluded.
