Entrepreneur combines passion for detailing, landscaping with businesses

KOKOMO, Ind. — The small business owner strives to take care of customers with American-made products and personal service.

KOKOMO, Ind. — Zach McKillip put his landscaping business on hold after his detail shop took off, but now he runs businesses for both of these interests, according to the Kokomo Perspective.

McKillip owns two Top of the Line Auto Detail locations, said the article. Every step of the job is done by hand.

“You’ve got someone’s hands inside a silk mitt, washing your car,” shared McKillip in the article. “They towel dry it by hand, clean the carpets, clean the engine bays and get them looking as new as a used vehicle can look and keep a newer vehicle looking as new as possible.”

The shop offers a variety of detail packages as well as an a la carte menu for other services, noted the article. Customers can also take advantage of a buy one, get one half off holiday special.

Both locations will undergo changes next year, and one will move into a new facility to be announced in the summer, reported the article.

McKillip took over an outdoor maintenance business, Quality Outdoor Power, in January 2014, stated the article.
