Exciting things are happening at PC&D
We’re half way through the summer and I hope you are bringing in the cars to your businesses and bringing in those at-home washers. Have you tried any of the ideas we suggested last month in our cover story, Success in Summer Sales? I know it can be a slow time of year for many of you, so hopefully you’re trying new things and not accepting the fact that business is slow.
As for us here at PC&D, it’s busier than ever. A lot has happened over the past year here at Professional Carwashing & Detailing. From the new website, to new online coverage, we now have new faces here, too. It is with great pleasure, that I introduce to you our new Managing Editor Tim Branfalt Jr. Tim comes to us with a master’s degree in journalism as well as a love of cars, technology and mechanics. Tim will be writing the technical articles as well as the profiles in success stories. Along with those two new additions to our team, we are also adding even more online coverage on our www.carwash.com website. For starters, we have added a landing page that’s dedicated to starting a new carwash. It includes everything new carwash owners need to know, from setting up a site plan, to installing equipment. If you know someone who is new to the industry, send them to our website. New features will soon be added, too. Stuff like an “ask the experts” feature to a glossary of terms.
We will also be adding more content to our Online Exclusive section. We will be writing up even more profiles in success, podcasts and photo spreads. And we are also going to enhancing our c-store and quick lube coverage.
