Fire at carwash responded to, put out

GEORGETOWN, S.C. — A fire at TLC Car Wash was responded to by local firefighters, and put out, according to TV station WMBF.

Fire Chief Joe Tanner says that crews arrived at the scene at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He told the station that there was heavy smoke filling the building, and that the roof and attic of the building were involved with the fire.

Carwash burned down in fire

The crews had the fire handled in around an hour. The fire chief said that the cause of the fire, along with the amount of damage involved have not yet been determined.
