VACAVILLE, Calif. — 5-Star Car Wash and Detail recently received Daily Republic’s Readers Choice 2016 award for “Best Car Wash,” according to the Daily Republic.
The full-service carwash has a location in Vacaville and another in Fairfield, stated the article, with a team of 60 employees.
“I’m at both locations every day,” said Bill Proestler, owner of the carwash, in the article. “We have a lot of dedicated managers, [and] we take our business very seriously.”
In a span of 18 years, Proestler has upgraded equipment three times to ensure the carwash locations are operating with the latest technology available, reported the article.
In addition to offering wash services, continued the article, 5-Star will also vacuum, clean the windows and provide full detailing services for customers.
“We do everything except re-paint the car,” stated Proestler in the article. “Everything we do provides value. If it doesn’t provide value, we just don’t do it. There are a lot of gimmicks in this business, but we don’t do any of that stuff.”
During the spring and summer months, the carwash is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noted the article, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
