MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — A 22-year-old man who wanted to one day open his own detailing business was killed in a car accident in May, according to Mlive.com.

The man, Michael Aguilar, and his 18-year-old cousin, Roman Aguilar-Emmons, a high school senior, were riding with their cousin Jason Fuentes-Perdomo, when Fuentes-Perdomo failed to stop at an intersection and collided with a pick-up truck, said the article.

Aguilar’s family remembers him as a “peacemaker” who was proud of and valued family. He worked at an auto auction and aspired to open his own detailing shop in the future, noted the article.

Aguilar-Emmons planned to become a police officer, according to the article.

Fuentes-Perdomo was arrested July 19 and has been charged. He has posted bond and is scheduled to appear in court in August, stated the article.
