SAWBRIDGEWORTH, England — A Shell station will remove its carwash as part of a remodeling project, according to the Herts and Essex Observer.
Documents said the forecourt parking infrastructure needs to be improved, noted the article. They also said the building is dated, and the proposed layout and design is to meet customer needs.
The facility currently features a canopy linked to the kiosk, and the carwash is located opposite the entrance, said the article.

The renovation will create an open air space between the canopy and kiosk to make customers feel more welcome, stated the article.
The existing kiosk will also be demolished and rebuilt to be more environmentally friendly. The removal of the wash will leave the town without an automated carwash, reported the article.
