CHICAGO — The Boyd Group Inc. announced a new Gerber Collision & Glass location recently opened in Gresham, Oregon, according to a press release.

For 24 years, the repair center previously operated as Custom Touch Collision Care, stated the release.

“We are very pleased to open our first location in Oregon,” said Tim O’Day, president and chief operating officer of the Boyd Group’s U.S. operations, in the release. “This provides us a foothold in a new region that we expect to build on as opportunities arise and will allow us to introduce our high-quality brand to a large base of new customers and provide an expanded platform for our insurance partners.”

Gresham is the fourth largest city in Oregon, reported the release, and is located about 15 miles east of Portland.

“This also marks an important milestone as the Gresham location is our 300th center in the United States,” stated O’Day in the release. “We are proud of the progress we have made in building this nationwide network of collision repair centers that serves thousands of customers daily.”

The Boyd Group continues its search to add new collision repair locations to its existing network in Canada and the U.S., noted the release.
