Grace for Vets urges carwashes to join the cause

CHICAGO — The industry-wide program is free to join and supports veterans and active-duty military.

CHICAGO — Grace for Vets is encouraging carwashes to get involved, according to a press release.

The industry-wide program is free to join and supports veterans and active-duty military, stated the release.

Any wash type can participate in Grace for Vets, reported the release, “as long as they are giving free washes.”

“It’s all about giving back and recognizing those who have and are currently serving their country,” added the release.

In 2014, program participants provided approximately 233,847 free carwashes, continued the release, and more than 1,364 car care companies and over 2,887 locations in four countries participated.

The International Carwash Association (ICA) will sponsor Grace for Vets and provide support for the global Veterans Day Free Car Wash Program beginning this fall. Professional Carwashing & Detailing recently featured ICA’s involvement in the program in a past edition of Carwash eNews. You can find this coverage here.
