BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In the latest Guest Post, Billy Miller, a car mechanic for over 20 years and the owner of KnockOutEngine, writes about the opportunities of offering car rustproofing services.
“If you live in an area with cold winters and many snow days throughout the frigid season, you are probably familiar with rust,” says Miller. “Living my whole life in a place mostly with snowless winters, I am used to seeing cars, 10 years or older, look as if they were just purchased from a dealer.”
Rustproofing services are more common in areas with consistently harsh winters, explains Miller, and if your car care business is located in such an area, you shouldn’t have too many problems finding new clients.
“Expanding the client base and improving earnings are priorities for practically any business. To accomplish both of these you must continuously work on ways to retain old customers and attract new clients by offering different services,” asserts Miller, adding that aftermarket rustproofing often leads to new and repeat business year after year.
