BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — In the latest Guest Post, Henry Fredrickson of Tidy Car WA, explains how to perform basic interior cleaning services.
“Interior detailing can range from simple tasks, such as vacuuming the floor mats and carpets, to full detailing which typically includes vinyl cleaning, dressing, carpet shampooing and leather conditioning services,” writes Fredrickson.
The first step before cleaning the interior, notes Fredrickson, is to prep the vehicle by throwing away any trash and removing belongings from the car.
In the blog post, Fredrickson lists four interior cleaning services, including the materials needed as well as the steps to take to perform the task.
The first interior cleaning service noted in the post is vacuuming any loose dirt. “Dirt accumulates inside cars easily, whether driven frequently,” says Fredrickson. “The foremost step when it comes to interior cleaning is to vacuum up any loose dirt.”
Fredrickson continues by listing the materials needed, which include: a crevice tool, a bristle-free upholstery attachment and vacuum cleaner.
Other interior cleaning steps highlighted in the blog post include cleaning plastic and vinyl, leather and windows.
