KATY, Texas — According to www.abc13.com, on Nov. 16, the new 56,000-square-foot Buc-ee’s location in Katy, Texas, was officially announced as the longest carwash in the world.
The Guinness Book of World Records held a ceremony at the location to officially name the carwash the world-record holder, the article continued.
At 255 feet long, the carwash is just a little shorter than a football field, the article noted; in addition, the carwash has 17 blowers and 32 vacuum stations.
The Katy location gave away free washes to everyone that day in celebration of the honor, the article concluded.
