CAMBRIDGE, NY — A carwash and roadway were closed here for two hours after a hit-and-run car crash, Your News Now reported.
The Aug. 8 story stated that the Washington County Sheriff’s office responded to the wreck at Rusty’s Car Wash just after 5 p.m. last night.
According to the sheriff’s office, the car hit the pipeline to two 1,500-gallon tankers. The pipes began to leak propane, and the area was closed off for over two hours as crews worked to control the problem.
The pipeline was plugged and the streets are now open.
