AMSTERDAM — The International Carwash Association (ICA) announced two inductees into the Car Wash Hall of Fame, according to a press release.
The honorees will be presented for the first time in Europe at ICA’s Car Wash Show Europe, which will take place Oct. 5-7 in Amsterdam, stated the release.
The recipients are Dr. Joseph Enning, the late founder of Mr. Wash carwashes in Germany, and Ger Loogman, owner of Loogman Groep carwashes in the Netherlands, reported the release.
“We are honored to be able to recognize the contributions made by Dr. Enning and Mr. Loogman to the professional carwash industry in their countries, around Europe and across the globe,” saod ICA CEO Eric Wulf in the release.
The Car Wash Hall of Fame presentations will be made during the welcome party for Car Wash Show Europe on Oct. 5, continued the release.
Raoul Enning will accept the recognition on behalf of his late father, noted the release, and Loogman will be present to receive the honor at the event.
“Car Wash Show Europe is the first event in Europe that puts [carwashing] first — and [recognizes] the industry’s heritage and the leadership,” stated Wulf in the release. “The accomplishments of carwash professionals [are] important [to] our mission.”
